Summary of Induction Interview - Pawn 64

Steven David MacKai was born in Glasgow, United Kingdom. Steve never knew his real parents as he was given to the foster system days after his birth. For eighteen years he bounced between half a dozen foster families in and around Glasgow, never finding what others understood as "home." On his eighteenth birthday Steve found himself no longer under the government's wing and so moved on his own to New York City. He felt a change was in order and while New York was still being rebuilt from the Resource Wars he knew he could find opportunity there.
It took some time but Steve managed to land a very well paying job as a service technician for a major electronic repair company. Desperate for workers they trained him, they fed him, and they even set him up with his first real apartment. No surprise here but it turned out he was a natural with anything mechanical and was especially fond of jobs which took him to the J.F.K. Airport where he got to work on what he calls "airplane guts."
At the same time he found the Guardian Church and was immediately taken by their message. Being alone in the world he found solace in their Headway Meetings and even found himself dating for the first time in his life. The Church helped him break out of a shell he didn't even realize was holding him back and keeping him from finding happiness, and he felt incredible.
On September 11th, 2038, Steve officially joined the Consortium and brought his unbridled passion for airplane guts to work aboard the C-3800-D, Zenlil.
