George Hamlin, also known as Bishop 8, was the serving Bishop on Zenlil prior to an incident with Kiril Angelov where the Consortium claims he shot down two Rampant Lions.[1] He was forced (and the very first to have been) into early retirement. Hamlin claims he did not shoot at them.[2]

- Greg says... George Hamlin was inspired by a Pen & Paper character used circa 1990. He was the Bishop Six fully voiced character that was-to-be for Amen: The Awakening.
At the beginning of Consortium, Rook 25 mentions his name is "Hamlin" before quickly correcting herself.
